Totem Telurico is located in Quincentennial Plaza in the Old San Juan section of San Juan, Puerto Rico. The totem pole was designed by Puerto Rican artist Jaime Suarez and is made from clay from across the Americas.
Quincentennial Plaza is on the southern side of Norzagaray Street between Cristo Street and Morovis Street just a couple blocks east of the entrance to El Morro Fort. The plaza contains a very large water fountain at the northern end and then a series of steps leads up to the Totem Telurico on the southern side of the plaza.
There are two trolley's that run past Totem Telurico along Norzagaray Street; the El Morro Trolley Line and the Fort Trolley line which both run up to El Morro Fort and then throughout Old San Juan.
