Susua State Forest

Susua State Forest is in the southwestern portion of Puerto Rico quite a ways off the beaten path near Lake Garzas. It can be hard to locate, so make sure you have a good map before you venture out. It is also fairly small compared to most of the other Puerto Rico State Forests, so it is typically not very crowded.

The Susua State Forest, like most other Puerto Rico State Forests doesn't have much in terms of facilities. It has some picnic tables, some bathrooms, some campsites, and poorly marked hiking trails.

Susua State Forest operating hours are from 9am to 5pm Tuesday to Sunday. More information is available by calling Susua State Forest at 787-502-6754.
